The first retail store was a converted home in Springfield Township, Ohio and opened in the early 70’s.

Husband, Frank, joined the company to help with growing business, leaving his long-held Goodyear aerospace job.

1987

Linnea’s first Ohio warehouse was opened in the late 70’s and the San Bernardino, California location opened in 1987.

Son, Russ, saw a niche for manufacturing and supply of the converted paper cups and with his technical expertise together with father and uncle, developed the patented machines.

1993

AMERICUP was born in 1993

Acquiring their first business, AmeriCup continued with slow and steady growth.

Staff added early 2000’s to manage growth including brother-in-law to manage production.

2004

Company acquired Sunset Paper becoming Sun America in 2004.

Sunset brought 28 years of working knowledge to the group.

Sun America planned to focus on innovation and new business segments that were not accessible before the merger.

Sun America then supplied both AmeriCup’s and Sunset Paper’s customers.

Executive positions added to manage business – all are vested partners in the business.

2012

Impressive year over year growth while maintaining small family business philosophy and approach.
